Root and Restore Energy Medicine Yoga Workshop
with lovely and gifted Kelwyn McElroy. I was fortunate to take one of her classes recently, when I had days of poor sleep and achy body. Her class was such a gift and a reset much needed. I appreciate that Kelwyn teaches us techniques we can do ourselves to reboot major body systems, to help the lymph flow, to detox,
re-energize and restore.
Root and Restore
Sunday, Sept 20 ~ 3 pm - 4:30 pm

At this event, we will have the privilege to enjoy locally brewed teas from two talented herbalists we are so fortunate to have in Lyons:
Kim from Sweet Breeze Farms and
Amelia from Honorable Harvest.
Kim will be offering
Sweet Breeze Shop's Daytime Energy Blend
Hibiscus Lime Sun Tea made with herbal Daytime Energy loose leaf tea blend.
Daytime energy support without the caffeine crash. Our Herbal Blend combines farm-grown CBG sweet leaf with mint, lemon balm, ginger, ashwagandha, hibiscus and licorice root to create a refreshing, naturally energizing herbal tea. Incorporating herbs traditionally used to support stress resilience, digestion, circulation, mental clarity and overall vitality, this blend is designed to help you feel grounded, refreshed and ready for the day. Supporting balanced, steady daytime energy — naturally.

Amelia will be preparing
Earth & Ember Grounding Tea which she thinks will be the perfect fit. It is a spicy, sweet, and earthy blend designed to balance, calm, and energize while aiding in digestion.
Ingredients: Ginger, licorice, black pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, and cordyceps.

Erin’s photography with powerful poems has been adoring our walls, what a gift Erin and her art is! Please take a moment to read her own words to hint the story:

“It is with a humble heart, I offer these moments in time. I am as sentimental as they come. I capture moments through photography and storytelling. I bear witness to prove it happened and was not just a dream. May these images inspire memories of hair being braided along the river with care, a lantern in the dark, when navigating stormy seas, a nourishing meal shared at a familiar table burning sweetgrass at the threshold. May your blessings stretch for miles and the spaces between now and then. May you feel held with a gentle hand at your back while you find your way. May you feel magic and the warmth of a hearth to welcome you home to your becoming. One of my honeybees captured a swarm I was holding in the palm of my yellow gloved hand. It felt like the most precious world. So proud to collaborate with one of my favorite creations.
It is with Wild Grace, and gratitude to adorn the spaces surrounding and holding you here.”
